Annie Lane

Annie is the business manager and co-owner of Kindred Construction, LLC. Annie has a history of business management in the veterinary field and still works in the veterinary industry, in addition to her role with Kindred Construction. Annie enjoys building client relationships and is enthusiastic about serving her neighbors. She takes pride in providing excellent customer service and prompt communication. Annie has also been the primary designer for the two remodel projects she and Seth have undertaken on their own homes, and has helped clients on Whidbey with color and design choices. She enjoys participating in the design process of the work with Kindred Construction (like this website).

Annie and Seth have a son, Ronan Lane, who inspired the formation of Kindred Construction after his birth in December 2019. When Annie is not working or devoting time to being Ronan's mom, she is a visual artist working primarily in the medium of charcoal, and has also taken up pottery. Annie enjoys baking and cooking, hiking, reading, playing guitar, and spending time with her family – including their beloved dog and cat.

Seth Lane

Seth is a general contractor and co-owner of Kindred Construction. His experience dates back to 2003 and spans multiple areas of construction, with a particular focus in carpentry such as finish work, framing, fencing, decks and arbors. He is meticulous and places the highest importance on quality work. He has completely remodeled two of his own homes and understands how important it is to ensure that even the smallest projects are done with quality materials and attention to detail.

Outside of his professional life Seth enjoys woodworking, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. Fun fact! During the 2008 recession, when building and construction hit a historic low, Seth became a certified dog trainer and behavior consultant. While remodeling his own home he also operated a dog training business in California and helped many families with their furry friends, as well as rescues he and Annie took in during that time. Seth has returned to his original trade but remains passionate about his dogs and dog behavior.
